Jenny’s involvement in the housebuilding industry began in 1978, when aged 17, she began work in her father’s company, Moody Homes Limited. Here she gained valuable experience, working in each of the departments from land acquisition, construction, interior design and specifications, through to sales of completed houses.

At this time, Jenny also developed a great interest in barn conversions and completed several successful projects, the latest of which is the head office for Jenny Moody Properties. This barn complex had laid untouched and neglected for over forty years with a tree growing through what is now the main reception area. Now it is a stunning office in open countryside of which Jenny is justifiably proud.
In 2022 Toby took a leading role in the business. In 2025 we changed our focus from building new homes to acquiring light industrial commercial property, property management and buying residential properties to buy-refurb-sell.
This new direction plays to the team's strengths of customer service, high build quality and moving exceptionally fast on acquisitions. Changing what we have done for the past 30 years was not an easy decision to make but we welcome the challenge ahead.
Having obtained a thorough grounding in the industry, in 1983 she set up her own company, Jenny Moody Properties Limited at the age of 23. The aim of the company was to renovate older, character properties to set herself apart from Moody Homes building more conventional new properties. This involved visiting auctions to bid for houses in need of renovation and after acquisition carefully planning how to best bring life back to these once beautiful homes.
In the mid 1990’s Jenny Moody Properties Limited evolved into the construction of larger, exclusive homes on small, select developments. This continued for 30 years.
In 2019 Jenny's son Toby joined the business having sourced land for the company for the 5 years prior. Toby oversaw the developments and continually improved standards and efficiencies on site. ​​​
